Personality: Chrono's main characteristic is his self preservation which forms the basis of his motivation for becoming a Magician, so he doesn't end up as Youkai food. Though he is silent and introverted, he is always willing to help others(Usually winding up as their doormat...).

Abilities: Manipulation of Fire, Water, Earth, and Air

Both he and his teacher's magic has a strong basis in Alchemy but while she prefers Eastern Alchemy, he prefers Western Alchemy, using a different set of elements. However, he is still not a very skilled Magician and thus sticks to using these abilities to brew potions and elixirs.

Relationships:

• Patchouli Knowledge- Patchouli is Chrono's magical teacher and he refers to her as such and shows her appropriate respect. He is extremely loyal to her as well and will nearly always be by her side. Whether or not Patchouli reciprocates these feelings is debatable, but she is still dependent on him aiding her due to her poor health.

• Remilia Scarlet- Chrono is reasonably afraid of Remilia as he was once a meal for her and is only living because she's a light eater but not without being scarred by the fear of being eaten. Remilia is aware of his fear and uses it to get him to do whatever she says for her own amusement.

• Flandre Scarlet- Chrono is just as afraid of Flandre as he is her sister, but is not aware of her destructive powers. Flandre on the other hand, expresses curiosity towards him and likes to take her chances to learn more about him, unknowingly causing him distress.

• Sakuya Izayoi- Chrono feels a certain kinship with Sakuya being the only Humans in the Scarlet Devil Mansion, keeping him from being "lonely". Chrono is also dependent on Sakuya whenever he wishes to leave the Scarlet Devil Mansion as he can not fly off the island nor can he defend himself. Though Sakuya is friendly in turn to Chrono's affections, she is mostly apathetic towards him.

• Marisa Kirisame- Chrono appears to deeply despise Marisa and has somewhat of a one sided rivalry with her due to his jealousy of her adaptitude with magic. Marisa on the hand has a habit of forgetting who he is and is either unaware of his feelings towards her or just doesn't care.
